Truth and honesty are the foundation of any good deal. At a time when uncertainty, frustration and worry is so acute, integrity from all parties in negotiations is especially important. Without it, deals fall through. It’s happened to everyone, including me. I’ve learned to forecast and be super mindful of details, watch for negative signs in people’s behaviour and ensure all cards are on the table at all times, including any deal breakers, before a deal is close to signing. I’ve conducted many deals in my career. I’m factual, like no surprises and always address all client needs, big or miniscule, or it could mean a big fallout. My integrity always holds firm. It’s what dictates success for everyone.
